Discovery has over the last 20 years been developing and manufacturing assemblies and components for Landing Gear, Hydraulic Actuation and Flight Control Systems. Landing Gear system components include axles, torque pins, axle sleeves, trunnion pins, cardan pins, apex pins, apex nuts, gland nuts, washers, roller pins, end caps, Retainer nuts, torque links. Hydraulic Actuator components include pistons, cylinders, and gland nuts. Flight control components include tail stock, gland nuts, housings, valves, orifice, summing lever, indicators, quills, clevises, spring seats, and adaptors.

Discovery caters to the requirements of the power generation component market with the capacity of its state of the art precision machining, where tight tolerances, fine finishing and detail to cosmetics are some of the features of this product range.

We manufacture components on various assembly platforms and in multiple lines ranging from simple components to complex assemblies with very tight tolerances and specs, in prototype, small lots or production batches.

Our fully integrated manufacturing capability has created a reputation for excellence, with high precision and flexibility our innovative solutions have been designed to meet our customer’s specific requirements. Discovery’s involvement in the molding industry is a testament to its engineering and manufacturing excellence, where the products range from clamp plates, flow nozzles, secondary heating units, sprue puller pins, guide pins, ejector pins, ejector plates, and support plates require an eye for minute details, where precision manufacturing is adapted to suit the needs of the molding industry.

Our facility is located within minutes of Toronto, Ontario. Our company provides a complete range of components from small bushings to highly complex assemblies. Our machining capabilities are backed by a wide range of machining centers with a turning capability of up to 2 meters in length, CNC milling centers capable of handling all small to medium components with an envelope size of 20” width and 60” length, and highly skilled machinists.
